Three rooms on houseboat in Amsterdam for 6 people

A studio and two rooms on a large houseboat, very idyllically situated at a forest / park in Amsterdam Noord. By bus or ferry / bike it will take you 15 minutes to Central Station, but you feel like being far from civilization on this boat. It is at a popular cycling route that leads past small villages around Amsterdam. The studio has a sitting area with sofa, dining table, TV / DVD and kitchenette (with utensils for 4 people) and a bedroom with double bed. There is a shower and toilet. Two floors below are two additional rooms with double bed. In the hallway is a second shower and toilet. On the roof terrace you can sit outside in the sun. There is a wireless Internet connection. The owner lives on the intermediate floor, only the entrance is shared with the owner. And if you come by car: it is one of the few places in Amsterdam where you can park your car free in front of the door.

LOCATION AND ENVIRONMENT

Amsterdam North is on the other side of the river IJ. With a ferry it is easy to cross over to Amsterdam North from Central Station. In general it is a quiet environment. Some popular bicycle routes go  through Amsterdam North to nearby villages, meadows and small lakes.
